This method was developed over a decade ago based on an empirical observation. Francine Shapiro, PhD. noticed that if we focus on a stressful memory while rotating our eyes back and forth, the stress usually diminishes and resolves. This is a simple treatment method, which has gained a deserved popularity among many psychotherapists. At its core, it utilizes the mind’s natural ability to heal itself. It imitates the body’s natural self-healing response during REM (Rapid Eye Movement stage during the sleep cycle). The method is used for treatment of multiple emotional and physical conditions. There is a long list of articles testifying to its effectiveness. (www.EMDR.com)

Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR)
Thursday, July 2nd, 2009Applied Autonomic Response Testing (ART)
Thursday, July 2nd, 2009ART is a diagnostic technique utilizing muscle testing to obtain information regarding the condition of the autonomic nervous system and a guide in treatment selection. APN was developed by Dr. Klinghardt. It is a non-invasive technique that uses two important tools: the practitioner’s mind and hands! Yet through a feedback of your body, it allows access to hidden information about toxins, infections, bio-energetic changes, and painful memories. It allows for selecting proper treatment using the body’s immediate feedback.
Applied Psycho-Neurobiology (APN)
Thursday, July 2nd, 2009APN is one of the most revolutionary, yet non-invasive and elegant healing techniques available today. A brilliant German physician Dietrich Klinghardt, M.D., Ph.D., developed this unique method. It utilizes psychokinesiology (biofeedback-guided counseling and healing), understanding about color, eye movements (EMDR), energetic taping techniques (MFT), understanding about acupuncture, and unresolved emotions connected to acupuncture meridians.
Applied Psycho-Neurobiology is based on a deep understanding of psychoneuroimmunology and neurobiology. Through a series of appropriate questions and muscle-testing biofeedback, unresolved psycho-emotional conflicts and trauma can be rapidly uncovered and resolution facilitated.
Treatment is usually done with the patient comfortably resting on a massage table with one hand extended. The physician periodically presses the hand, performing Kinesiological testing in order to find a proper understanding about emotional conflicts and traumas, and to find the best treatment approach. A session usually lasts 45 to 60 minutes. At the end of the session, the patient usually feels a sense of relaxation and a feeling that something important was just resolved.
The method is a safe and very efficient way to uncover and resolve long-standing emotional traumas, false negative beliefs and unresolved emotional conflicts.
Holistic Psychiatry
Thursday, July 2nd, 2009Holistic Psychiatry is an innovative approach to treating emotional and physical conditions by using sophisticated contemporary methods enriched by ancient healing arts. The goal is to facilitate healing and restore innate balance and happiness. We are complex beings, reflecting the world we live in. We can be understood on multiple levels: physical, energetic, mental, and spiritual. So, our maladjustments and diseases and their treatment is approached on five fundamental body levels: Physical, Electromagnetic, Mental, Intuitive, and Spiritual. Using treatment methods from different body levels provides a synergistic response. There is a place for laboratory testing and physical examination, energetic evaluation and intuitive healing. The true process of healing is magic incorporating science, creative art, and an act of sharing.
