Systemic Family Constellations
Facilitated by Michael I. Gurevich, M.D.
Based on the work of Dr. Bert Hellinger
Systemic Family Constellation work allows us to look at how events that occurred in past generations impact our present life experiences. Hidden family dynamics, often spanning two or more generations, may create imbalance or disharmony in the family “field”. These disturbances may lead to illness, depression, suicides, relationship difficulties, accidents, or career problems for current family members. We can discover the nature of the hidden dynamics by setting up family constellations using representatives to stand in the place of family members, living or dead. When these constellations are set up authentically through listening deeply within and following the movements that arise from listening, they can reveal the true disharmony affecting the client. Constellation work allows movement towards restoring balance and order to the clients’ health, well being and family relationships.
Participating as an observer or representative is often as valuable as creating one’s own constellation. Our efficient, time limited workshop community provides a safe place for the soul shifts that can happen when all parts of the family system are acknowledged and given their rightful places. All participants have the opportunity to tap into the information that exists in the field and may benefit from the knowledge.
If you would like to work on your own family constellation it would be helpful to draw a genogram of your family. Please see attachment for instructions.
